TITAY, Zamboanga Sibugay, July 27, 2026 — The Titay Municipal Fire Station (MFS) conducted an orientation on July 27, 2026 for its designated drivers of the newly acquired 1,000-gallon Isuzu fire truck, equipping them with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and efficiently operate the new fire apparatus during emergency response operations.

The orientation covered the fire truck’s operational features, driving characteristics, safety procedures, preventive maintenance, and proper use of its firefighting equipment. Participants were also familiarized with the vehicle’s controls and response capabilities to ensure effective operation during fire suppression, rescue, and other emergency incidents.

The activity forms part of the station’s preparations prior to the full deployment of the new fire truck, ensuring that all designated drivers are competent in handling the apparatus and maintaining its operational readiness. Proper orientation and training are essential in maximizing the vehicle’s performance while promoting the safety of both firefighters and the public.

The addition of the new 1,000-gallon Isuzu fire truck further enhances the operational capability of the Titay Municipal Fire Station, enabling it to provide faster, safer, and more efficient emergency response services.
