TITAY, Zamboanga Sibugay — Personnel of the Titay Municipal Fire Station (MFS), under the leadership of SFO4 Neil P Siaron, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, conducted the initial Body Mass Index (BMI) screening for aspiring Fire Officer 1 (FO1) applicants as part of the Bureau of Fire Protection’s recruitment process for BFP Region 9, which has opened 120 vacancies for qualified applicants.
The recruitment includes 42 positions for the Special Rescue Force (SRF), 20 positions for Emergency Medical Services (EMS), and 58 positions for Fire Suppression Operations. The BMI screening serves as one of the initial requirements to determine the physical readiness of applicants before proceeding to the succeeding stages of the recruitment process.
Aspiring applicants from the Municipality of Titay are encouraged to visit the Titay Municipal Fire Station for initial assessment, guidance, and assistance regarding the recruitment requirements. Station personnel are available to provide information and help applicants prepare the necessary documents and comply with the prescribed qualifications.
